Take the rotor arm off and check that ALL three metal tabs are there..

Thankyou - not had a chance to get into it yet but I'll use these pics to ensure it's been done properly.

Strongly considering the HEI mod you linked - do you know anyone who has done it, or how successful it is? Baffles me that these dissy failures are so common! Seems mad! Apart from the distributors it's been such a reliable car - daily drive for 4 years now.

I don’t know anyone who has done it, but I believe it’s a common option on several makes, I think it’s more of a USA thing?
