I am currently in process of moving and i am trying to sort out terrestial/ free live tv for when i move.I have researched this for fun but cannot get my head round it.
I went to my new house today as the british legion had promised to fit a loft aerial but cancelled appointment and cannot rebook until after I have moved.
Landlord really nice guy and helpful but not tech savvy and doesnt understand I cannot afford virgin which is connected if I take it on
Is there anybody that can give me a ring in next few weeks that can explain my options to me
I know i can book aerial installers but cannot afford and trying to be independant but just need advice.
i have bought a loft aerial and can live with tv in bedroom alone.
Pm me if you can talk me through best way to have some tv when i move until i have time and finances to sort properly.
Cheers for any advice you can give.

Is there no aerial at all?

It's not too difficult to fit the aerial, but probably harder to explain what to do, or how to fit it?

There's a couple of web sites that will tell you what direction your aerial should point, to pick up the best signal.

Just put your postcode in

You will need a compass, most 'smart phones' have them these days

All sorted.Installer cheap and did it properly and quickly.
Top tip.Knew tv aerials had to face way of others but completely went over my head to retune the TV downstairs.I knew I was on a different antenna and knew when he said I should have retuned it but with all stuff in my head with moving and aargh solicitors I forgot so laugh or remember top tip.
He also said quite often loft aerial as good as anything so no need to get it put on the roof necessarily.
