Re: Power steering cooling pipe
If you did decide to replace it, I know a small company who would be able to make a new one for you. He'd need to reuse the fittings, and have the old pipe as a pattern.

Re: Engine removal
Good news, I've managed to find a v6 parts car near me that has been stored in a garage for 8 years. Gonna pull the engine from it and fit to the 2.0 Any tips for removing? Will be replacing belts, water pump, gaskets etc when engine is out. I'm guessing I need engine, gearbox, wiring loom, ecu. An...

Re: Airbag code 32
Clock spring indeed still has continuity. Guess I found the safing sensor too (image below), but couldn't get the connectors off, so I just cleaned the dust off on top . Any idea what size resistor is needed to simulate the airbag? If that wouldn't shut the light, then it has to be something ...

Re: Airbag code 32
Cleaned the two connectors from drivers side (both ends of the clock spring wiring), also waited for the light to go off before starting and still blinks 32. What is safing sensor and where it is located? Its an inertia sensor also called a "saving" sensor that has to operate at the same time (in s...

About Diagnostics
Here's my diagnostics box. Is it standard and is it OBD1 or OBD2? https://i.postimg.cc/YG59zJzq/20200613-155759-resized-1-1.jpg I assume its OBD1, however the very useful PCM fault codes post I got from a guy in Canada, mentioned that the Probe was fitted with OBD2 iafter 96 and furthermore cars fit...

Re: Airbag code 32
Just out of interest I had a look at the book and code 32 is the drivers side airbag, the circuit components of which are the clocksprings, safing sensor and the airbag itself, plus connectors.

Re: Need some serious help please
Well, I'm very pleased to tell you all that the Flying Machine is flying again. It was indeed the Crank Position sensor. If you take a look at the photo you can see that it was rubbing on the tension pulley for the alternator, but that wasn't what stopped the car. It was an open circuit fault on the...
