Shock absorber boots

Hi all, could anyone please tell me if the front and rear shock absorber dust covers are the same? I see two different types coming up, but also, the majority say they will fit both front and rear.

TIA

Re: Any tips for stopping distributor oil leak?

Thanks for taking the time to reply everyone. I'll check the O ring and bore sizes, hopefully a slightly thicker I ring may solve it. The past couple of dizzys have wept but not enough to really bother with, this one is leaking and I need to do something about it. Ironically the last one I bought wa...

Any tips for stopping distributor oil leak?

As above, seems no matter what I do, every time I've fit a new distributor, I get an oil leak from where it slots into the head. New O-rings, hylomar can't seem to stop it!

Any tips?

Slightly strange one...getting a fairly loud noise and whirring from ABS pump but only under certain conditions. The car is off, start it up, all normal until the car moves, even a tiny bit. You don't even need to engage the clutch, just rolling a touch will cause the pump to make the noise. You can...

Re: No hot air

My bad...low coolant. I haven't used it much this winter and topped it only last week. Heating is fine, now I have to find the leak ...

Re: No hot air

Not quite the same issue but thought I'd ask on the same topic...Mine blows hot air but is only really hot when you're driving/revving the engine, as soon as you stop at drop to idle it cools off incredibly quickly, within seconds. And vice versa when you rev, the air changes to hot within seconds. ...

Re: Safing sensor

Thankyou so much! That's exactly what I needed. Turns out all the connectors and clockspring are good, it's the airbag module itself.

Re: Safing sensor

Much appreciated. Do they have better diagrams than the ones available on the forum? They're helpful but don't show every connector and there are a few abbreviations such as NCA which I have no idea what they mean!
